Tuna Melt Sandwich

Ingredients
- 1 can tuna (in water or oil), drained
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion or spring onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped celery (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions
- In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, onion, celery, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Lay out the 4 slices of bread.
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly onto 2 slices of bread.
- Place 2 slices of cheese on top of each tuna-filled slice.
- Cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the pan and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve warm.
